Cross Roads, Texas

The Town of Cross Roads is located between the Dallas North Tollway and I-35E and is only 8 miles from Denton and Frisco, 25 miles from Lewisville, and 50 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth. It has a convenient location along Hwy 380 and the North Tollway intersection on Hwy 380 and the future toll bridge across lake Lewisville connecting I-35 Flower Mound/Lake Dallas to Hwy 380. Cross Roads is located in the heart of “Horse Country” known for its fields, ranches, a modern medical complex and expansive prairie land.

Today the population is estimated at 500 and spans over 6,000 square miles.

There are ordinances in place to protect and preserve the natural scenery of the town, specific guidelines for commercial landscaping, sign specifications, residential subdivision requirements and others. Before any grading or clearing is done, specific plans must be approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Town Council.

Collin County, Texas

Collin County is located in the northern part of the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex and is experiencing an explosive amount of growth within recent years. The population of Collin County is estimated around 700,000 and is still growing.

The county seat is located in the City of McKinney, home to FC Dallas, a Major League Soccer team and home of the Central Park Campus of Collin College. Collin County is one of the fastest growing counties in the United States, and is the wealthiest county in the State of Texas, and the 17th wealthiest in the United States.

Collin County has almost doubled in size since the 2000 census, with the major reason being the rapid suburban development north of Dallas. Cities such as Frisco, McKinney, and Plano are becoming extremely popular due to the master planning of its communities and neighborhoods, and Collin County has quickly become the most densely populated counties in Texas.

Collin County is extremely diverse, with a high Hispanic population and a fast rising Asian population, coupled with an extremely young, highly educated populus overall.

Denton County, Texas

Denton County is located on the north side of the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex and is becoming more and more of an integral part of the DFW area. Denton County has a population of just under three-quarters of a million, with its county seat located in the City of Denton, and is home to the main campus of the University of North Texas.

Denton County is one of the fastest growing counties in all of the United States, experiencing 36% growth between 2000 and 2006, and has been named a Top-100 Place To Live by Fortune Magazine, making Denton County an extremely rewarding place for real estate in which to invest. Denton County is neighbored by Tarrant and Dallas Counties to the south and Collin and Grayson Counties to the east.

Denton County's population has a young median age of just 30 years old, and much of this population is comprised of young professionals. Denton County has several large lakes, such as Grapevine Lake and Lake Ray Roberts, leading to plenty of lake front properties all throughout Denton County.

Denton County also has many inincorporated areas yet to be developed, allowing Denton County residents access to the Texan "Country-side" within a matter of minutes.

Grayson County, Texas

Grayson County is located in North Texas, about an hour's drive outside of the Dallas - Fort Worth Metroplex. Grayson County borders the State of Oklahoma to the north, and shares the southern shores of Lake Texoma and the Red River with Oklahoma. Grayson County is named after the former Republic of Texas Attorney General Peter Grayson.

Grayson County, Texas has a population of around 150,000 people, with most of its residents centering around the cities of Denison and Sherman, the latter being the Grayson County seat. Grayson County features many, many natural resources, with crude oil still being pumped out of the Grayson County grounds since the discovery of its existence in the county in the early 1900's. The county depends much on its natural resource incomes, but also has a small manufacturing core.

Austin College, a small liberal arts college based in Sherman and the longest continuously running college in the state of Texas, has been named one of the best but unheard-of liberal arts schools in the nation with an enrollment of less than 2,000 undergraduates. Austin College also has numerous study-abroad programs, as 70% of Austin College students attend a study-abroad program in their first four years. Texas Republic President Sam Houston served on the original Board of Trustees for Austin College.
